I think it is an award for Liem Swie King who He is a hero of Badminton of Indonesia. I hope this film also can make support and motivate Indonesian Young man, especially about fighting and nationalism.

Wulan Guritno and Ario Wahab are employee in this scenes film. The producer makes some audition to find the boys talent. “Garuda di Dadaku” is a sport genre film in Indonesian; this theme is not common in Indonesian Film. And also children theme is not often as a genre film. Children theme films have a bad appreciation for producers of Indonesian Film. Do you remember, Indonesian film wake up from comma because a children theme film, Petualangan Sherina by Mira Lesmana. After that there are many followers to produce children film. But in latest time we can not easy to find this genre film. The children films usually make a box office in the cinema, as like as “Denias” and “Laskar Pelangi”,

Children film and sport film have been mixed in this film. I wish this film can make inspirations to the Indonesian Children…it is a nationalism mind.

Bayu in “Garuda di dadaku” is a boy, he stay at six levels in Elementary school. He always dreams in his live to be a superstar in football. Everyday he trains himself enthusiasm. He dribble ball along the way to everywhere he goes. Until he reach a court to play in. Heri is Bayu friend, he is a maniac football. Heri very believe in that Bayu have a very good skill in football. Heri always support Bayu, and he push and recommend Bayu to follow a selection and joint U-13 Team Football. This team will play for Indonesia in an international competition. But Mr. Usman, he is Bayu grandfather had not agree with Bayu ideas. A football player is a poor live in the future...

This film focused to the live journey of Azzam (M Cholidi Asadil Alam). He is an Indonesian student of Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.After Azzam fathers passed away, his mother get down and sickness. In Indonesia Azzam sisters still young and they can not help their mother. Actually Azzam have to help his mother and his sisters, because he is the eldest brother in his family. Actually Azzam consider about it. He changes his focused to find some money than study. He gets some money by produce and selling Tempe and meat ball. Azzam more focused to his business. Than he fail in his study. Azzam study has been hold about nine years; some times he had failed in his examination. In other side his business makes him popular, especially in the Indonesian Embassy. He meet Eliana (Alice Norin) a modern-beautiful girls, a daughter of Indonesian Ambassador of Egypt.

The live journey and love of Azzam is not easy, and they can make a soul scarification to the audiences. His journeys bring the audiences to more understand about the secret of God and also about love. Suddenly Anna (Oki Setiana) comes, she is a Moslem girls and she has attract Azzam. Anna and Azzam mystery love had been package in a different ways than the other drama-love story films. Azzam connection with his sister Husna (Meyda Sefira) and also with Furqan (Andi Arsyil) his Indonesian college friend had made this story more valuable. Since Furqan has an AIDS.

All the setting in the novel had been captured in the original places in Cairo, Egypt; include Neil Rivers, Indonesian Embassy, and Al-Azhar University. You know all the places usually are forbidden on screen film production especially for foreign producers. Half of the Indonesian students of Al-Azhar University have been employed also in this film.

Sinemart Pictures fall in love to make the film full version as per the novel. They take on action in the original location as been written in the novel. The audition processing to find actor and actress talents who have a similarity as the novel have been produce as a reality show. Is there any goodmind in the politic live?

Opening scenes, KPK is discloser a party leader, ASU (Anggaran Semuanya Untukmu : All the Budgeting is for you”) from a corruption conspiracy. The candidate went to election as a President. Finally all the founding party makes a decision to find another candidate. They want someone who can follow their ways. They have to find someone who have a foolish character, stupid, green mind that he just will be a puppet leader only. This leader next only will be a bumper of their greed mind. After selection from some candidates, finally they are choosing Hartono as the next leader of ASU party. Hartono is an administration staff but he has only an office boy duties. Dwi Sasono has cast as Hartono, a loyal and foolish officer.

The problem get start open up, while he start asking in his mind and his hart. Is it a right policy ways? While he is watching all his colleagues in ASU party make some crimes openly. But after he has guiding from Kelik Pelipur Lara, Effendy Gozaly and Denny as politic consultants, Hartono just make breaking rules from their founding party decision. He has to fight directly to pay back all their crimes. Upon he must counter back all their friends in his party. There are many crimes such as: killing someone, corruption, sex facilities, image character killing etc. But Hartono have become a smart leader now. Finally he can win his election, and he can reach his order as an Indonesian President.

This film has produce as a critical ways to Indonesian policy system, but in a comedy film story by the team of Republic Mimpi. The team always makes some reality show. Usually they make critical and parody of Indonesian politic. You have to see Capres the comedy film. It is a good film and good critical ways. Especially if you are a party candidate in the next Indonesian election. Even do it is a comedy film, there are some messages that you must learn and understand.

But the weaknesses of this film are the lighting effect and pictures. The pictures and lighting are not manage well. We can see this film as a low price budgeting film. We have some gossip that the budget is more expensive than “Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Squad)” because there are some politic screen on this film likes: Yusuf Kalla, Gus Dur, Hidayat Nur Wahid, Andi Mallarangeng, Sys N, etc. Notabene they are all the politics in Indonesia Nowadays.

This is about Hamdan (Denny Malik) is disco master, he is cool guy and very popular in his surrounding home. He has to marry Jubaedah and Lusi, because both girls have pregnant his babies. Jubaedah and Lusi live face to face home each to the other. Nine month after, both of them have a baby boy. Harim (Tora Sudiro) is Jubaidah boys, and Setiawan (Vincent Club80s) is Lusi boys. Day by day they have a chaos live family, no time without fighting between each other.
Ten years after Hamdan runaway from his family he was been sick. He run with a thick woman and had a daughter Harti. Harim had been a sailor, and along five years he did never see his mother. In other side Setiawan had change himself into Setiawanti. Upon to he becomes a sissy. At that day Harim and Setiawanti went to hospital to saw his father. They think his father will gift them some message before passed away. They did not have some wealthy from his father, but they had a younger sister on their care and authority. His father wanted them to find a husband for their younger sister Harti (Poppy Sofia). Harti did not want a wealthy husband, but she only wanted a master disco to be her husband. Harim and Setiawanti finally have to do his father message, although both of them hit disco. They hit disco, because disco had make their family broken.
Harti choose a master disco man Herman Amir (Ari Untung). He is a student of Ahmad Khalid. He is a competitor of Hamdan forever. In order to fulfill Harti dream in, Harim and Setiawanti had to follow a disco competition. They must work hard to study disco everyday. They learn disco book from their father. Finally Hamdan win this competition and beat Herman in the final competition.
It is enough a humor comedy film. Tora Sudiro had not given his best performance. But just Vincent makes his best acting as a sissy gay. He always makes something that makes the audiences laughing. I gave three stars for this comedy film. It is full entertainment and a fresh movie (Written by DJoe and Joe).

Virgin-2 (Its not a blue film)

This is a starvision film production; Virgin-2 is the second sequel from virgin-1, that’s had success in the cinema and film festival. Derived from this film Claudia Chiythia Bella became popular. Should be Virgin -2 can reach success film as the Virgin-1?. But we note the Virgin-2 have a different theme than Virgin-1, although there is a same main frame…It is about virginity and brotherhood.


In the Virgin-2, this is story about teenager Tina and Nadya, both the girls’ sleepers in the Bronx. There is Tina (Christina Santika) (16 years old) a High school who only has a friend Kenny. Kenny is a dumb girl. Both girls always care each to the others. Tina had runaway from her home after her mother angry while she was capturing have a sex abuse by her mother boyfriend. Steffie help her and gave a place to sleep. But Steffie bring Tina to Yama as a whore. Yama had her virginity, and than Yama make Tina as a professional bitch girl. Fortunatelly Tina can escape herself and she meets Nadya (Joana Alexander). Nadya is a DJ; she is a broken home girl and still has a pregnant. Raymond (Raymond J Tungka) is Nadya boyfriend, he is a drugs seller and still life in a jail. Daily Nadya live with her girlfriend Mitta (Smitha Anjani). But Mitta is an addicted and always asking some money to Nadya for some drugs and cocaine.

It is a perfect meeting about Tina and Nadya, they are completely each others. At the end both girls have to sell their body as a bitch. They must pay back some Mitta money to the drugs distributor. At the ending story Nadya passed away while had some bleeding. In the other side Tina kill Yama who want get Tina again.

Virgin-2 is like only selling her title, bombastis title. Because in this film there is no connection with the sequen Virgin film as before. All the actress are newcomers, than all the scenes under standard performing. There are missing message in this film. The synopsis film is not special. I think it is just a common film. Quenita Siregar (Tika Putri) is a teenager 17 years old. She a daughter of a president candidat RI. In the beginning she is an ordinary teenager. But her live has been change in a suddent while her father had been choosed as a candidate of Indonesian president. As like as a president his live full watched by a special team bodyguard. And from that time Queen is not be free again. She is also been followed by a bodyguard. Queen is not an ordinary teenager again.

But a naugty teenager Queen always try to runaway from her bodyguard. As like as in the club, Queen try to escape and than suddenly she meet with Braga (Reza Rahardian). Braga is a handsome man who can make Queen sympatic and fall in love. Time by time Queen and Braga become closer and familiar although they always been watched by bodyguard, AK-4 (Oka Antara).

After Queen fighting and make some discussion about her special protection. Queen makes cease a fire with his father. She always follows his father in his campaign program and also visit some places. Until she can understand that his father have a better politic goals, He wants Indonesia growing better,

Unfortunately while Queen get closer with his father, Braga came in her live and disturb her connection with her father. Queen receive 100 million in one cheque from her father. She will be free to use all the money. And she decides to give all the money to Braga in order for a charity of Braga social program. In other side she had make hot news in some newspaper. She had sentences as a young corruptor in her school program. Queen runaway and looking for Braga. She wants to make approval that she is clear and not guilty. After investigation they found that Braga is a spy. Actually Braga has an order from Budi Pribadi to destroy Mr. Siregar program activity. In the end story Queen was kidnapped by Braga, but AK-4 can save her from kidnapping and her father win the election and became a president.

It is a new genre in Indonesian movie. I think this film can not reach the target for a teenager film. Because there are many conflict scenes about Queen and her father. This film feels boring along all the scenes. It is the first film by Fajar Nugros, for his first time it is not a bad film. Although there are many scene chance to be explored. Because it is the right time as an election session in Indonesia.

I am appreciating to Jajang C Noer; she has a good performance along this film. Tika Putri has to more explore her self to be a Queen in this film. Queen is a teenager, naughty, creative, smart and beautiful.

Tommy (Ferdy Element) a rocker still exists but he not yet reaches his success. He had a little bit trouble while a teenager 16 years old ,Nilita (Olivia Lubis) declares that she is his daughter. Tommy is a free style lives and never believe in a married live. He is not sure if Nilkita is his daughter. But after Nikita pushing him to meet her mother Lintang (Wulan Guritno), Tommy just consider about Lintang, his girlfriend in the past. It is his discloser time that Tommy is a boy band and playboy. He had usually changed his girlfriend.

One day Lintang should send Nikita to Tommy because she must following her husband Peter to go outbroad. She asks Tommy to watch over her daughter. They are make a deal that Nikita should live with Tommy just only one semester. They are making an agreement full with 50 order items. Like as : No alcohol, No cigarette and no smoking, and no free sex lives., etc. Since Nikita live with him, Tommy has live in a new color. As a rocker at the beginning Tommy has been really disturbed. Time by time Tommy can make an adaptation live with Nikita with all her orders.

This is the conflict just beginning between a free style live father versus a teenager. Nikita is a teenager fulfills her live with a regular system and a mature thinking about future. Nikita makes and changes his father lives patiently. Tommy becomes better in live and it was make Tommy find himself in a new live.

The director Benni Setiawan make a new genre film in Indonesian Film Industry. Nowaday Indonesia full with horror or sex comedy for adult. “Bukan Cinta Biasa” offering a romantic family live, love story teenagers, and a mature comedy in an entertaint film. This film become a better film and not make us boring to watching “Bukan Cinta Biasa”.

Janda Kembang is a comedy film; Start at 7 May has been playing in cinemas. From the title we can have a suggestion that it is about a widow story. There were many films in Indonesian movie had this theme. It is a classical theme in film. But I still attracted to see in theatre.

Asih(Selasih played by Luna Maya). She is a new comer, and just visit to Pulo Bantal. It is a village out side Jakarta. Fortunately she asking to sing a song by Dodiirama Band in a wedding ceremonial. She is a beautiful woman and sexy and also have a good performance. All man in the village proud to fall in love her. Than there is an issue that she is a new widow. She makes jealousy to the entire wife’s in the village, because all the man and husband had attracted to her. It will get worst because she is a “dangdut singer”.

In the election time of the village’s master, Dodi Irama always calls to show play. Asih support as a singer inside that makes Dodi Irama success. Her performance on stage and out stage always makes up set all the women villagers. All, She make the men became forget to his husband position. Especially Yuli Nada (Sarah Sechan) is Mr Dodi wives. Yuli is the first singer in Dodi Irama before Asih coming. Now Yuli feel her position has been in a danger, both either as a singer or as a wife.

Yuli absolutely jealousy to Asih. She is expressing her jealousy in a bad ways. She orders to all the women villagers to beat Asih, and she is purpose to send out Asih from the village. Finally Asih had gone out from the village after her house was burnt. At the ending story, Asih actually is not a widow, but she is a wife of a chairman. His husband was in a trouble and asked as a corruptor. It is makes Asih runaway and hide to the village,

This film is an entertain fair one. Each people performance a good character in the cast. Sarah Sechan well play as Yuli, The unique character is Asih (Luna Maya), she is cast as a silence widow. She did not make much convertation, just sing only. I give good appreciation to Luna Maya because she well sing many song in dangdut genre music. It is really different with her cast in her films before. There is a note, this film has been producted by Hanung Bramantyo, He is sometimes makes comedy films as “Tarik Jabrik” and “Si jago Merah” (Written by Aji and joe ).

Indonesian film industry now is getting better. Derived from many place, we found about 87 tittle film had product in 2008. It is a large number and fantastic for Indonesia, because some years before the film industry in Indonesia almost freeze. In the year of 2008 there are some fenomenal film, like as: Ayat ayat Cinta and Laskar Pelangi. Both film are going to be bestsellers Indonesian film. Those film can reach 2 million visitors. It is fantastic and they can stay on screen in many theater for some months. There is anpther film “Fiksi”. It is a good movie but not success to get visitors. Althoug this film win some award in some film festival in Indonesia and abroad. In other side there are many horror film and cheaper film have producted also. Reallity people love the genre film like that, just for fun and entertainment only. That films are only as a filler in the cinema. People never discuss about them.

In the year of 2009 they make 200 title as the target production. I wish it will be happened. Along this year we can see in the cinema. There are many Indonesian film on screen. Almost every theater play Indonesian film everyday. It is good for quantity film production, how about the film quality? I think it is like a coin. Nowadays Indonesian film product a good quality film also. They are not only make much film, or make follower trend films. If they do it., Inonesian Film Industry will set back to era of 90, that they make a lower quality film. The films were full with sexual scenes only. It is an ironis one. How do you think? The roman of Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare, has been adapted in Indonesian Film. The film has adopted and uses a same title, but this film background is about fanatics of football supporters. “Fanatics have grown and developed in supporters mind base on many motifs, even do a rational motif or irrational one. They are could be die for his loving football clubs.

This idea has been screen on by Andi Bactiar Yusuf. After he is making a documenter of football themes. In the beginning I just think this film is a comedy film, or full with satires comedian film as the other film in Indonesia.

But after watching this film, I am find there are some different themes inside it. First, I just can understand that a fanatic of a football club is an absolute thing. It is became a royal mind.

The second, Football theme has been merge with William Shakespeare Love story, can be a good reflection. Although a sweet love story and football is not corresponding, but this film can be enjoyed by everyone. Maybe they are not a football lover.

The synopsis film is a bout Desi and Rangga; Desi Kasih Purnamasari (Sissy Priscilia) is a Viking Lady. Viking lady is called to woman supporters of Persib Bandung. Rangga (Edo Borne) is a JACKmania; he is a supporter of Persija Jakarta. Everybody knows that both club is always fight each to other.

But what a next, A love is always illogic thing. Although both of them have a super fanatics mind. Their love could fight to everything. Desi and Rangga have a forbidden love. The people around always beat their love, especially Desi older brother (Alex Komang). He is a real absolute Viking. Their conflict was going worst while Desi and Rangga decide to marry. As per Romeo and Juliet story by William Shakespeare; this film has a tragic ending story. Rangga has beaten by Vikings and he is dying.

Victim and fighting are coloring along this film. It is exactly same as Romeo and Juliet story before. It is full with family conflict. I gave a good appreciate to the director film. In the beginning, this film idea has been beaten by the club supporters chairman, Jackmania and Viking club. They are both said that this film is not reflecting their habits. This film makes a controversial among the Jackmania and also among the Viking. Actually the film is not support one of the supporters. The film message is a peace message with love as a scarification. I hope if you are not like with this theme, you can see the art side of the film; it is about a peace message for all supporters of Indonesian football. This is a good creation that you should give some appreciation.

I give three stars for this film. It has a strong theme, but this film has a poor quality picture snapshoot. The lighting and sharpness of the picture not well editing. So it is look like not enough serious to make this film. While if you are like a lover story, it is a different love film. Lets you are watching in to the cinema around your house. The title is indicate, that the film is about love affair, but I am sure and you will surprised also. This theme film is unpredictable end film.

Fantastic and a brave film, that some comment from the audiences. It is my film, this film had employed first time at STIKOM PROSIA short movie screening. It is a favorite film, because the homosexual issue in this film. Male love male in Indonesia is a forbidden live. The theme film is out from the custom live in Indonesia. But it is not a wrong theme in film. This is only a co memory film that a homosexual live actually have same love with heterosexual live.

Maybe it is just my experiment only. I put a homosexual issue in my short film. This film duration is about 13 minutes, and only has 5 talent people. It is a simple film because it uses only two scene film. But I am believed you will give me a smile and appreciation.

The homosexual theme in this film is only a satire comedy. It is about a broken relationship of two gay. They are friend each to other but everyone fall in love with a same gay others. It is true that love is a choose. And love will drive our path live. Remember, that love must not a belonging forever.

The ending message at the film: “Please receive all everything happened in your live, because we are sometime driven by a chaos….”

FORGIVE ME…MOM

Going to entry a queer live is the beneficiary this film. There are many transsexual movies in the cinema and also in television. But after you watch over this film, you can find a fresh and original theme.

It is about confusing live a queer. She was considering a wrong live about herself. Than she want to declare to her mother. Her mother was going to doubt…If she must receive her or rejected her fact live. All had screen on silent scenes.

In other side, the queer is enjoyed her self. And she feels that she was born really as a woman. It is about a choose live. Although she knows that people can not receive her live. Maybe it is right that live is a choose. So she is making a decision to be a queer.

At the ending film, the queer had been say apologies to her mom. But in the same time she was captured by police. This movie content many messages in screen language….not too much dialogue. This is a first film at 2005, while I was a student. Directed by Jay Sukmo. Script by Joe (it is my first script film). At this film I am scene as the Queer. He..he..he

Tiara, Hari Ini Indah

Tiara…today is a beautiful day. It is a sentence that Tiara received in her morning birthday. She received from Surya. At that day Surya hope that Tiara will have this beautiful day. He had prepared a special gift to Tiara. He had kept in his mind about his feeling love to her. But he never declares himself. That is the right time to tell. He prepared a special unique book, a poem book of himself that telling about all his feeling in love to Tiara. Although Tiara is enough a close friend, but He was not know all about Tiara

Surya had chosen a romantic place to celebrate Tiara birthday. He hopes that he will enjoy the day long enough with her. But He loss all his hope. because Tiara said that she had a lover. Although she had a bad communication with her lover. After Surya hear all, he feels hopeless. Surya receive all and he let his feeling just to be a dream in only.

Wakil Rakyat the Movie

Almost about one month many posters had been held in everywhere. First I think it is an advertising of a party, but I was wrong. Actually “Wakil Rakyat” is a movie title. Derived from the title I have a suggestion that it is about election theme film. This smart idea, that the producer makes this film and launch in Indonesia Election now.

This is a comedy genre film. Tora a famous actor employee in this film. He scenes as Bagyo. Bagyo is a destroyer. He makes a move and destroys in a National Forum Party. Zainuddin (Joe Project P) was going angry to him. Than, Bagyo loss his job. This tragedy make his proposal with Ani (Revalina S Temat) almost broken. Bagyo must work hard to make his dream came true. Marry to Ani.

A gangster had robbed Atika (Wiwid Gunawan), a famous actress. but Bagyo defeated them. Atika had been free from robbery. This moment make Bagyo has been noted and famous. His big name has been use by a big party to get voters in the campaign session. While he campaign in a Wadasrejo Village, Bagyo have a bright sight about himself. There is a more important think unless his name and his popularity now.

This film is enough funny as a comedy film. This is Tora character daily as per the other films. But we did not find a new movement in this film. I think it is make a sense in the Election Day to sell it. If you attracted it….lets go to the movie and watch this film.

GENERASI BIRU

Garin Nugroho's film is about the Indonesian rock band "Slank". The group, known for its political lyrics, has been together for 25 years and has an enormous following throughout the country. "Slank" means "minority" and the community of fans make up something like a movement: the "Slankers" stand for peace, unity, and love, much like the American hippie movement in the sixties.

Part of the film documents a musical by the band that grapples with Indonesia's political history. It addresses the country’s severe problems and criticizes the government by exposing militarism, the abduction of dissidents, the death penalty, and torture as being the order of the day. The heroes of the musical are the cool winners, the "Blue Generation", inspiring others with their positive values much like the characters in "Hair".

Nugroho also shows us concert clips and Slank fans and enhances his film with comic book-style animated sequences commenting on the political situation in Indonesia. The film paints a multifaceted picture of the Slanker movement and offers a portrait of Indonesian society that is as unusual as it is striking.

Kalau Cinta Jangan Cengeng

“Kalau Cinta Jangan Cengeng” Indonesian movie by Monty Tiwa. This movie story about Boy (Agus Ringgo) an actor film. He stop consuming drugs after crass his car. After rehabilitation program, Boy become a icon fight drugs. He always speech in a rehabilitation program for the other.

He meet Yani (Marshanda) in a program. Boy believe that Yani is a daughter of his victim in an accident in the past. Boy want to redemte his fault. And Boy want give aid to help Yani solve her drug problems.

Ahmad (Dwi Sasono), ex Boys Manager, telling to Yani that Boy have make her parents died. Beginning at this point, one by one problem discloser between Boy and Yani.

This film is moderate. Monty Tiwa, The Director tell a different story film than the other Indonesian drama films. Unfortunatelly , the plot is very slow…You will feel boring to see.

Marsanda scene is verry good. She can make live Yani character and verry different with her performes in the soap opera in Indonesian television before.

But Agus Ringgo performes is commonly as his character in the other film before. Like “Jomblo, Si jago merah and etch”. He can not out from his specific character as a comedian actor.

But it is a different genre film in Indonesian movie. This film fair enough to see.

I give three star for this film. Just moderate.

I suggest you to bring a handkerchief while watching this movie.

PEREMPUAN BERKALUNG SORBAN

Revalina S Temat gets stoned in the latest blockbuster Islamic theme movie, “Perempuan Berkalung Sorban”.

After the runaway success of the Islamic themed film Ayat Ayat Cinta comes “Perempuan Berkalung Sorban”, based on the novel by Abidah el Khalieqy which was first published by the Yayasan Kesejahteraan Fatayat in Yogyakarta in 2001.

Starring everyone’s favourite girl next door Revalina S. Temat, who plays Anissa, the daughter of the leader of a traditionalist and very conservative Islamic boarding school (pesantren) in East Java.

Her father’s school, described as “salaf” or “salafiah”, teaches that knowledge must be based on the Quran, Hadith and Sunnah, and that modern works that have no such basis are not to be touched. Annissa struggles with this teaching and she believes that Islam, or her father’s version of it, does not treat women fairly.

Annissa’s opinions are ignored by all around as the musings of a little girl, except by the handsome Hanya Khudori (played by Oka Antara), a relation on her mother’s side. Annissa falls in love with him but Oka, mindful of the blood link and his relationship to the girl’s father, attempts to kill the romance and flees to Egypt to continue his studies.

Crestfallen, Annissa tries to go her own way by enrolling at a school in Yogyakarta but her father rages that an unmarried girl cannot go off on her own, and besides, at her new school she may be exposed to unIslamic teachings. Kyai Hanan, played by Joshua Pandelaky, decides to marry his daughter off to the son of another Salaf school, but it is an unhappy marriage and Anissa later learns that her husband, Samsudin (Reza Rahadian), is a polygamist.

Finally her first love Khudori returns from Cairo and their previously interrupted love is rekindled….

FIKSI

Fiksi, I have a plan to see this movie for along time ago. This film has be a topic in many formal or informal forums. This is a winner in Indonesia Film Festival (FFI 2008). Fiksi have a grand price for the best Director, the best Script, The best music director. And also as the best Film in the year of 2008. When I am walking in the DVD shop. I bought it automatically, because the film has stand out at cinema. I must see this movie. I want to write one synopsis for my own blog site.

After watching this film, I only gave one comment; it is a great film, a one cool film. Although the story as like as a foreigner film that I have ever see. Sorry… I m forget the title.

Fiksi is a movie about Alyssa (Lydia Cheryl). She is a lonely teenager, her father always busy and he did not pay attention to her. Alyssa is a rich daughter. Everyday she always goes with her driver who he is like as her bodyguard. One day she was attracted by a young man (Donny Alamsyah). The young man working as a private pole cleaning service. By her attracted to him, Alyssa run away from her family housing. She rent a room in the same flat with the young man.

Alyssa became closer with him. Although she knows Barry has a girl’s friend (Kinaryosih). Actually He is a novel writer. He is being writing a novel. His base novel telling about the Romans and environment of the flat where he is live. After reading his novel script, Alyssa want the novel story became a real live scene. She discover a gay live her neighbor. She kills an old man. And the other sadistic activity following the script in the unfinished novel that Barry is been writing.

Unpredictable! That is my comment about “FIKSI”. I gave 3.5 stars for it. Because this is a different film in Indonesia.

I give you an advice. Find out the DVD and enjoyed the suspend in each scenes film. And that’s not wrong, if the Fiksi is the best film in Indonesia Film Festival 2008. ( Juhdy and adjie)
